    Sales Solutions Engineer - HealthSparq

    Portland, Oregon

     

    The Sales Solutions Engineer will be responsible for bringing health care consumer shopping and navigation solutions to health plan or employer prospects and clients. This will be done through subject matter expertise regarding HealthSparq’s products, listening to client needs, mapping solutions to those needs, assessing technical readiness, and communicating the strategic vision for HealthSparq. Promote adoption of new technology or products to key partners and customer and build relations and engage with targeted community to create awareness and enthusiasm for product. 

    Responsibilities & Requirements

    • Ability to work with highly confidential information.
    • Demonstrated experience as sales engineer or solutions architect. Demonstrated experience working with Sales on account strategy.
    • Solid presentation and demo skills in front of customers. Is able to speak and write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles.
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and other components of Microsoft Office software.
    • Strong skills in effective listening and ability to quickly map solutions to the needs of the client/prospect.
    • Experience in and knowledge of the health care industry and software as a service technology preferred.
    • This position requires a deep understanding of marketing fundamentals. Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to interact successfully at all levels within the organization and with external audiences.
    • Must be flexible and able to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, assimilate information quickly, analyze problems, implement appropriate solutions and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently while successfully working on a team.
    • No unusual working conditions.

    • Work primarily performed in office environment.

    • Travel may be required, locally or out of state.

    • May be required to work outside normal.

    Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed above:

    • The Sales Solutions Engineer, HealthSparq would have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field and nine or more years of experience in dealing with customer and prospect issues. Experience in health care consumer transparency or wellness companies is desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience.
